For
the 2003 'Say You Will Tour', Lindsey Buckingham used two
Renaissance RS-6's with Roland VG 8 Systems, and RS-12 and
an RS-6-B baritone which was also set up for him with a
Roland system by Rick Turner. The Roland VG 8 system was
also installed by Rick in one of Lindsey's Model 1's.
John McVie's main bass is now an electroline solid body
4-string (model ELS-434 PM2), with an olied swamp ash body,
two Turner low noise magnetic soapbar pickups and the
Turner piezo equipped Hipshot bridge. John recorded the
entire 'Say You Will' album with that bass, and he also
used a fretless version for the tour. John also has a
Renaissance RB-4 fretted semi-hollow (used on 'The Dance'
video) with Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Roundwounds and earlier
in 2003 ordered the fretless unlined version of this superb
bass.
