Fine, full-bodied acoustics
sound wonderful to the ear. But amplifying or recording
their lush, warm sounds is an exercise in compromise.
Microphones capture too much ambience and restrict the
performer's movement, while add-on pickups must be designed
or EQ'ed to reduce feedback at key frequencies. Either way,
the characteristic purity and fullness you seek are
lost.
But
what if a bass guitar was designed from scratch to produce
premium acoustic tone as an amplifiable recordable
electronic signal? That's the challenge Rick Turner has
answered with the Renaissance Semi-Acoustic line of
guitars.
The elusive goal
of high-fidelity amplified acoustic tone dictated every
facet of the Renaissance design, from the premium
electronics to the solid mahogany center block crafted into
the thinline body. The end result is beautiful acoustic
tone at the output jack, ready for recording or
performance!
Renaissance Basses are now available in 4 different formats
