MODULUS GUITARS
THE
POWER OF CARBON FIBER
Modulus
Genesis
When it's a Genesis, you know it.
Presence
and punch you feel in the pit of your stomach - and lower.
The
patented Genesis neck design turns the concept of a
composite neck on its head. In the process it gives you the
best characteristics of both wood and carbon
fiber.
First,
there's a structural carbon fiber spine that extends from
the tip of the headstock to deep inside the body. The neck
then gets its shape from a solid piece of lightweight,
resonant tone wood. All string tension is supported by the
composite central structure, eliminating all warping and
twisting.
Since
the wood of the neck isn't subject to any stress,
Modulus
can use soft tone woods like red cedar, alder and soma to
add warmth and character to the crisp attack
characteristics of the carbon fiber spine. It's the right
neck for players looking for an organic, woody sound
enhanced with the strong fundamental and brilliance of
carbon fiber.

The saying, "the Best of both worlds" is finally
true.
The extremely stiff carbon fiber spine supports all the
string tension. The select tone woods give the neck shape
and provide warmth and character to the sound.
The perfectly balanced body shape was created for Modulus
by bass guru Michael Tobias
Choose from alder, soma or a combo of exotic (yet
ecologically sustainable) hardwoods. You won't find a more
comfortable and sleeker body on the planet. Michael also
designed the beautiful ergonomic neck shape for all Genesis
bass models.

You
can order your Genesis with a wide choice of pickups and
active and passive tone circuits.
At Modulus they carefully test and match every electronics
option to the instrument, so you can feel confident that
whichever you choose, it will give you exceptional tone and
trouble-free performance.
