Like a mountain lake, the sound of a Modulus Quantum is clean and pure all the way to the bottom.

With their areospace-grade carbon fiber necks, Quantum basses have tremendous presence, with pristine highs, growling mids and lows that rattle your innards - everything you want in an electric bass.

Since the '70s Modulus basses have set a new benchmark for performance, both onstage and in the studio. Even response on every string up and down the entire fingerboard. Solid fundamental pitch focus. Unwavering note stability. Unmatched dynamic range.

And your Modulus instrument will give you this high level perfomance for decades to come. The carbon fiber neck is completely unaffected by temperature and humidity and it won't ever twist, warp or destabilize.

The distinctively spacey exterior layer of carbon fiber on the Quantum neck, know around the workshop as KLD™, or "a thousand (k) ladies dancing", has been an artistic Modulus trademark for over 15 years. Quantum basses are also available with your choice of chrome, gold plated or black anodised hardware.

Modulus craftsmanship is another industry benchmark.

The fit and finish of every component is as near perfect as possible. Modulus offer a choice of six different exotic (and sustainable harvested) wood tops and nearly 30 different finish combinations. Your Quantum will truly be one of a kind.

You can order your Quantum with a wide choice of pickups and active and passive tone circuits.

Modulus carefully test and match every electronics option to the instrument, so you can feel confident that whichever you choose, it will give you exceptional tone and trouble-free performance.

Every Quantum is a handbuilt, custom instrument that will deliver stratospheric performance for as long as you own it. The Quantum bass has been a stage and studio standard for two decades. It's not unusual to find early Quantums offered for sale at more than their original retail selling price.
