Pinnacle TWIN 30 Guitar Amplifier
The Pinnacle TWIN 30 being ALL VALVE and totally Point -to Point hand wired in the true traditional fashion is different from many of it's partly PCB -equipped and valve hybrid cousins. This includes those manufacturers who make the "Hand Wired" claim but deep down there lurk's a disguised circuit board or two.
It's down to purity of tone whereby the amplified signal , unchanged by effects loops and other compromising PCB circuitry and alike, sounds as big as a house but without the unbearable volume levels of some modern style amps.
We suspect that many secretly envied a few true Vintage amp users who can dial in that classic fat creamy overdriven sound without tearing the roof off and we feel that the Pinnacle TWIN 30 makes it possible to achieve a similar performance but with a lot more control.
The different pre-amp valves used on both channels have definite effects on the amplifiers performance. A key point is the use of an EF86 which gives that more compressed and smoother sound as found in say other high end "Boutique" amps such as the Matchless.
